The Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors (CCCO) helps COs in several ways. They publish CCCO News on a regular basis. The Summer 2004 issue dealt with rumors about a Draft in 2005 and gave updates on their Military Out of Our Schools Program (MOOS), Third World Outreach Program (TWO), and the GI Rights Program. Their Hotline at 800 394 9544 has been receiving an average of 3,000 calls a month from servicemembers interested in CO discharges. They state that if you are of draft age you need to find out what you need to do to find out what your options are and what you need to do to get your documentation together, for all of which they can send you relevant materials to begin to compile your claim as a CO.
